ORGANISATION SET UP |

The Bhartiya Patita Udhar Sabha, set up in 1984, is rendering a yeoman service for the settlement, rehabilitation and upliftement of sex workers and their children. The sabha has set up its offices in 9 states. With the help of police, the sabha has rescued a large number of sex workers from the kothas. The sabha has made arrangements for free medical check up at Surat and Delhi. About 85% prostitutes and their children are illiterate and sabha is working for them to make them literate. |
